34% Property Tax Increase Passed | Click and Read Thom's take on it.
I don't think it is much of a surprise to most of us, but in case you missed it, themajority of the Metro Council voted last night to support the 34% property tax increase contained in CM At Large Mendes' budget. It was approved 32-8. I did not support either the Mendes or Cooper budgets. This is not the time to put this much of a burden on the backs of property owners. Click and read more.
